Serious sam 2 controls12/22/2023 The over-the-top feed of non-stop action is invigorating, enjoyable, and endorphin-generating. But all you have to do is keeping moving, stay sharp, and keep blasting the hell out of anything that moves. The whole situation is a set-up for even bigger enemies to come, including 10-story spiders. In this particular situation, you'll hop in a hover car (there are a total of 10 vehicles in the game) capable of strafing and firing a steady stream of laser shots. Croteam is not chintzy with weapons nor vehicles. This row of giant Cyclops will appear and in the meantime, airplanes will drop even more enemies behind you, seeding the area with insta-growth enemies all ready to hurl plasma balls at you, bite your limbs off, or crush you into insect-meat. Once you traverse deeper into the lush, friendly woods, you'll find monsters the size of five-story buildings attacking in squads. There's a little joke about being the ruler of so-on-and-so-forth (I think he says Crom), and then you just kill the Conan-clone with three good shots to the face. Enemies in Serious Sam II come in waves, starting with small annoying punks, like ferocious dogs, brutes with shields, and some rude Conan-lookalikes. Mind you, most of these weapons aren't real, which makes them all the more fun to use. You'll have nearly 20 weapons to choose from, including the SBC Cannon v 2.0, Mini-gun XM214-A Minigun, XL 808 Hydro Plasmatic Rifle, The Penetrator Magnum Cobra, MK-4 Grenade Launcher, Raptor 2 Sniper Rifle, Zapgun Hydro-Plasmatic Handgun, 12-gauge auto-reloading shotgun, Clawdovic: Cacadoos Vulgaris, RB-45 The Rombo Hand Grenade, Double Shotgun, Serious Uzzi - Suzzi, Circular Saw - Boneslasher P-Lah Chainsaw Mk., Serious Bomb, and the XPM元0 Rockst Launcher. You'll instantly start with the hand-saw and hand guns, and within just a few minutes, upgrade to machine guns, shotguns, and more. The environments this time feel like paper mache props just waiting to be riddled with bullets and chopped to pieces. The newly designed "Serious 2" engine offers detailed graphics, environments and physics that are 100 times more complex than previous Serious Sam entities. Croteam sounds excited about its new game engine. As enemies go, Sam is on a marathon campaign to collect five parts of a mysterious icon and in that time, he will traverse 40 levels and seven different worlds. What matters in Serious Sam are the size and amount of enemies on screen, the kinds of guns you've got, and the interaction between the two. There is nary a reason to hold back on ammo. It's a kill or be killed FPS focused on shooting as much as possible. Starring Sam Stone, a T-shirt and jeans wearing, square-jawed hulk of a man, this muscle-bound, one-man army essentially confronts whatever gets in his way for the common good of mankind, or in this case, alien kind. Serious Sam II, however, isn't the novel re-imagined in videogame form. Everybody liked the two-player co-op in Doom 3, so now you've got four-player, Doom-style play online with a gang of the silliest enemy characters ever to grace a frag-fest. On Xbox, up to four Xbox gamers can connect via Xbox Live or SysLink and play cooperatively through from the beginning to the very end of the single-player campaign. On PC, as many as 16 gamers can participate in a rousing 16-player single-player co-op campaign. 2K Games has picked up the rights to the PC and Xbox games, and it's pushed the serious parts up a notch or two, giving both system owners something to shout about. Croteam's low-budget Doom-clone came into its own about four or five years back on PC, and since then it's gained a cult following due to its tongue-on-cheek humor, non-stop onslaught of enemies, and a certain sense of cheesy, imaginative, who-gives-a-rat's-ass first-person shooter thumping. That's what is so damn loveable about Serious Sam II.
